Curriculum
At Dersingham our approach is to teach the curriculum creatively, our ctivities offer pupils opportunities to think, plan, choose and make decisions – to do, then reflect, review and evaluate experiences. The school celebrates achievements before setting off new targets. The school believes in empowerment, in children to believe “I CAN!”

Planning
By using a thematic approach to planning, subjects can be linked to make learning more meaningful and Using creative activities makes the curriculum more accessible to all abilities.

Exploring the Arts-
Exploration of the arts and artistic achievement influences children at an early age. It raises self – esteem, bringing pride and great satisfaction.

Displays-
Seeing artwork transformed into a school display can be incredibly rewarding as recognition of personal achievement.
Through classrooms having their own working wall it keeps the classroom environment relevant to current teaching and learning as well as valuing the children’s work.
