At Dersingham we use the Abacus planning framework to plan exciting, stimulating and engaging lessons to challenge and meet the needs' of our pupils. The Abacus planning framework is fully compatible with the new National Curriculum (2014).

Your child has been provided with their own personal log in details for MyMaths www.mymaths.co.uk. They will be able to practise any maths skills they wish to improve on. If your child does not have a log in, please speak to their class teacher.
To access MyMaths, children need an Internet enabled device. From a laptop or PC, simply type www.mymaths,co.uk into your browser. To access MyMaths using an Android tablet or iPad, you will need to download the Puffin Academy app (click on links below). Once you have installed Puffin Academy, click on the Puffin Academy Portal and search for MyMaths. Click the MyMaths logo, then click Install. This will save MyMaths on the home screen of your Puffin Academy app. Then simply 'Launch' MyMaths to access it.
An update on MyMaths and Flash
Just to inform you about the work we are doing to move MyMaths away from Flash. We are working on this as a matter of high importance to ensure that MyMaths continues provide you with the best possible experience no matter which browser you use.
Please be assured that you will still be able to access MyMaths while we complete our work. However, you may need to adjust your browser settings if you are having trouble opening content. We have updated our support site with the latest information and advice around browser settings. If you use Google Chrome, please note that this information has changed since last term.
The winners of the Times Table Challenge for the Autumn Term are:
KS1- Class 10 who had 7 stars
KS2- Class 21 who has 7 stars
Class 10 and Class 21 will be receiving a prize for getting the most times tables correct.
