If your child was born between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013, you will need to apply for a reception class place in primary school for next academic year, which starts in September 2017. If you live in Newham, you must apply through Newham Council by following the links and information below. If you live outside Newham, you must apply through your own local authority.
How to apply:
Applications for school places can be made via the eAdmissions website. By registering and applying online, you have the peace of mind of knowing your application has arrived. You will be allocated a reference number, which allows you to log back in and check your application. By registering online you can also start completing an application, save it and return to complete it at a later date.
The closing date for applications for school places for September 2017 has now passed. Any applications made now will be classed as late. All on time allocations have already been notified.
National Primary Offer Day:
Parents will be notified the outcomes of their applications on Tuesday 18th April 2017. If you apply online, you will receive the outcome via email on Tuesday 18th. If you apply via paper application, your results will be posted via first class post on Tuesday 18th - meaning you'll receive them within a few days. You have two weeks to accept or appeal the decision.
