THE SCHOOL DAY
What time does the school day start?
We have a sharp start to the day from 8:30am until the gates close at 8:55am. We take our registers at 9am. We recommend that you aim for an 8:30am start as this helps pupils settle in well and prepare for the day.
What time do the gates close?
The gates close in the morning at 8:55am and 3:25pm in the afternoon
What happens when I am late?
You will need to walk your child to the school office. You will need to provide a reason as to why you are late and staff will note this for record keeping. It is important that pupils attend school regularly and on time.
Why can’t I come into the school grounds whilst the gates are still open? At 8:50am, we stop letting parents into the school grounds but still accept pupils in until 8:55am. This is so that we can close our gates promptly before the registers close. If you would like to walk your child to their classroom, please come between 8:30am and 8:50am
