OUR HEADTEACHER
Thank you for your interest in Dersingham Primary School. I am proud to be the named Headteacher for this amazing school, it is my personal mission to ensure that this school becomes the school of choice for parents in Manor Park, Newham.
The highly skilled staff and teachers at Dersingham are experienced educators and have created a nurturing environment where every child is challenged to achieve their full potential. They deploy excellent teaching and are given a range of excellent opportunities beyond the classroom. I know what it takes to provide a world class education and I am proud to replicate that here. Our motto ‘Be excellent…Turn Up… No excuses…’ means that we strive for excellence in everything that we do. We try hard each and every day to improve opportunities for our pupils and we expect them to try hard in all that they do.
My commitment to our pupils and their families is;

Our curriculum blends high quality, imaginative learning supported by a rich, digital environment with a rigorous focus on ensuring that all pupils develop the highest quality skills in reading, writing, numeracy and communication right from the early years until the end of Key stage 2. As well as following the National Curriculum, our pupils are also encouraged to learn how best to learn, to communicate, to think critically and strategically and to understand themselves, each other and the wider world, both real and virtual. We pride ourselves as a school of innovation and excellence and deliver a bespoke value led curriculum that focuses on issues relating to social justice, developing pupil’s self-efficacy and championing mental health for pupils and staff.

I am proud to lead Dersingham Primary School as Headteacher and I bring with me a successful career in headship and an unyielding determination to provide the very best education possible for our pupils. My team and I share a passion for providing first-class learning opportunities for all our pupils leading to outstanding outcomes which help open the door to happy and successful lives.
